Wir suchen einen erfahrenen System UI & Android Framework Base Architect (m/w/d), der die Architektur, Anpassung und technische Führung für Android Automotive System UI und AOSP Framework-Lösungen übernimmt. Die Rolle umfasst die Verantwortung für CarSystemUI, Framework-Integrationen, Multi-User-/Multi-Display-Funktionen sowie plattformspezifische Anpassungen, um eine skalierbare und hochwertige Automotive User Experience sicherzustellen.

Aufgaben:

  • Definition und Weiterentwicklung der Architektur für Automotive System UI, einschließlich Systemleisten, Benachrichtigungen, Sperrbildschirm, Benutzerwechsel, Lautstärkesteuerung, Overlays und fahrzeugbezogenen UI-Komponenten.

  • Steuerung von AOSP-Framework- und Plattformintegrationen in Zusammenarbeit mit Android-Systemdiensten, Car Framework, HAL und OEM-Erweiterungen.

  • Verantwortung für Multi-User-, Multi-Display- und Cockpit-UX-Konzepte für Fahrer-, Beifahrer- und weitere Fahrzeugdisplays.

  • Sicherstellung hochwertiger AOSP-Entwicklung durch Architektur-Reviews, Testing, Performance-Optimierung, Debugging und Release-Readiness.

  • Führung technischer Abstimmungen mit Stakeholdern sowie Mentoring von Entwicklungsteams.

Anforderungen:

  • Fundierte Erfahrung in der Android-/AOSP-Entwicklung, insbesondere mit SystemUI, CarSystemUI und Android Framework-Anpassungen.

  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Java/Kotlin, idealerweise ergänzt durch Kenntnisse in C++/JNI.

  • Tiefes Verständnis der Android-Architektur, einschließlich SystemServer, Binder IPC, AIDL, System Services, Berechtigungen und Plattformarchitektur.

  • Praktische Erfahrung mit System UI-Komponenten, RRO-Overlays, Theming, AOSP Build-Systemen (Soong/Blueprint) und Plattformintegration.

  • Starke Fähigkeiten in den Bereichen Debugging, Performance-Optimierung, Testing, CI/CD sowie technische Führung.

Wünschenswert:

  • Erfahrung mit Android Automotive (AAOS), IVI oder Embedded Android-Projekten.

  • Kenntnisse in HAL, VHAL, Car Framework, Multi-Display-/Multi-User-Architekturen, CTS/VTS, SELinux sowie Automotive-Standards wie ASPICE, ISO 26262 und ISO/SAE 21434.

Technologien & Tools:

AOSP, Android Studio, Git/Gerrit, Soong/Blueprint, adb, logcat, dumpsys, Perfetto/Systrace, Android Profiler sowie weitere Android-Plattformentwicklungstools.
