Senior Manual Tester with Business Knowledge

For one of our financial clients we are seeking a Senior Manual Tester with a strong understanding of Danish mortgage products and processes. This role involves working in a dynamic, international team responsible for ensuring the quality of the specific product journey, addressing the unique needs of customers in the Nordics. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough background in manual and regression testing, with excellent communication skills in both Danish and English.

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will focus on maintaining high testing standards and efficient workflows. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Continuous validation of the system.

• Maintaining and aligning test cases with current best practices.

• Managing test cases, including execution and results evaluation.

• Providing ongoing updates to test cases.

• Planning and executing regression tests for each release.

• Assisting in the early detection of defects and sharing findings.

• Documenting defects with detailed verification of fixes.

• Collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality deliveries.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of practical manual testing experience.

• Extensive experience in manual and regression testing.

• Strong knowledge of Danish mortgage products and complex processes.

• Ability to challenge and validate end-to-end mortgage business processes.

• Proven collaboration skills with stakeholders and ability to work independently.

• Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., qTest or similar).

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Fluent in Danish and English.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience at the client - or financial companies

• Background in migration and release testing.

• Knowledge of test automation.

• Experience in documentation and knowledge transfer in complex environments.

• Interest in applying AI to testing processes.
