Solutions Architect - Frontend (React)

Responsibilities:

• Front-end Architecture and Development: Lead the design and development of responsive, scalable, and component-based user interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Build dynamic UIs that render components based on JSON-driven metadata, ensuring flexibility and configurability. Develop custom UI components to manage complex field logic, conditional rendering, validations, and dynamic interactions. Drive front-end architecture decisions, reusable component libraries, and coding best practices. Ensure UI/UX consistency by collaborating closely with UX and design teams.
• API Integration and Data Handling: Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs, ensuring real-time data rendering and optimised API consumption. Work closely with backend teams to define API contracts and streamline data flow. Implement efficient state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar).
• Performance Optimisation and Quality Assurance: Optimise front-end performance through code-splitting, caching strategies, lazy loading, and other best practices. Implement robust testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). Conduct code reviews with a focus on clean, scalable, maintainable code.
• Leadership, Mentoring and Agile Delivery: Lead and guide front-end engineers, providing technical direction, coaching, and development support. Take ownership of project outcomes and ensure timely, quality delivery of front-end modules. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to estimation, sprint planning, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and smooth end-to-end delivery.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with business and architectural goals. Advocate for best practices in accessibility, security, and performance. Promote continuous improvement in development, testing, and delivery processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of hands-on front-end development experience, with strong expertise in: React & Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5 CSS3 Modern JavaScript (ES6+), dynamic UI rendering with JSON-driven configurations.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous data flows.
• Experience with modern build tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile environments.
• Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks. Experience with Node.js backend development is a plus.
