We are Enhance, a full-service digital agency devoted to tailored web solutions, digital marketing, branding, and communications. We are seeking a talented Junior/Mid-Level Full-Stack Web Developer with experience in PHP, and WordPress CMS to join our team in Heraklion, Greece.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering or a similar field.
• Proven work experience at least 2 years as a Software Engineer / Web Developer.
• Hands-on professional experience in PHP (mandatory requirement that will be examined)
• Excellent knowledge of front-end technologies including Bootstrap, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery (mandatory requirement that will be examined).
• Experience in Relational Databases (MySQL, MariaBD) (mandatory requirement that will be examined)
• Experienced with Web Services & RESTful APIs development
• Experienced with WordPress theme/plug-in development
• Good understanding of software / web app architecture and aesthetics.
• Portfolio or samples of past work and projects
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Greek language.

Technology we Use

• We develop in web environment, using PHP
• All the projects that we do start from a white page in which we draw things. To do this we use CSS and Javascript
• We develop eCommerce/eShops and content sites in WooCommerce/WordPress using Astra Pro and Elementor Pro. Any kind of experience in these will be highly appreciated. We’re using
• We spend time working with APIs, building web services and exchanging information with third party services using Node.js, PHP etc.

Qualifications:

• Developing and implementing clear and structured code by using both back-end and front-end programming languages.
• Maintaining, upgrading and testing current software, applications, web services.

• Provide solutions in technical challenges and needs
• Implementation of automations for repetitive or complex administrative tasks
• Provide consultancy on how processes, tools and platforms can be improved and what are the new technologies that could be used
• Deliver results according to agreed time-plans
• Passion for the latest trends in technology.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with PHP frameworks will be considered a plus such as Laravel, CodeIgniter etc.
• Knowledge of NodeJS, ReactJS or Angular, Express.js
• Knowledge in Databases MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Firebase etc.
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD etc. (we work on Figma)
• Familiarity with versioning systems (preferably GIT)
• Familiarity with cPanel, Plesk, SSH or other server management software.
