EOS Innovation is an engineering company working on opto-mechanical, electronic and software systems. It hires software engineering leads, systems safety engineers, integrated logistics support practitioners and mechanical and electronics design engineers. The company is headquartered in Singapore.

We continually strive to help our workforce achieve their professional and personal goals, engaging them in challenging and inspiring projects.

We are looking for a junior project manager who can support the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology-driven projects in a structured and disciplined manner. The role is suited to someone developing their project management capability, with a practical understanding of project controls, governance, stakeholder coordination, and delivery support.

In this role you will assist with maintaining project schedules, action registers, RAID logs, reporting packs, cost and milestone information, and project documentation. You will support Project Managers and Program Managers to help ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and compliance expectations.

Successful candidates will be organised, proactive, and collaborative, able to work across multidisciplinary teams, follow up actions, prepare clear information for decision-making, and escalate risks or issues early through the appropriate project leadership channels.

Primary duties

The role supports EOS project delivery by helping bring structure, accuracy, and coordination to technical projects and work packages. It contributes to project success by maintaining reliable project information, supporting governance routines, and helping ensure actions, risks, issues, and decisions are tracked and progressed.

You will assist with project lifecycle activities from initiation through delivery and closure, including schedule updates, baseline tracking, resource inputs, meeting coordination, performance reporting, document control, and preparation of information required for project reviews.

The role also supports adherence to EOS standards, contractual obligations, quality expectations, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate records, following agreed processes, and escalating exceptions for review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project delivery support: Support the planning and delivery of small to medium technical projects or discrete work packages, assisting with scope, schedule, budget, and quality tracking.

  • Planning & governance support: Assist in developing work breakdown structures, schedules, action registers, governance packs, and routine reporting to support effective project control.

  • Team coordination: Coordinate inputs from engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, commercial, and other functions to support integrated project outcomes.

  • Stakeholder communication: Support internal and customer-facing meetings by preparing agenda material, capturing actions, maintaining decision logs, and escalating risks or issues through the Project Manager or Program Manager.

  • Commercial & contract administration: Support tracking of contractual deliverables, supplier inputs, purchase actions, and change information, ensuring relevant records are accurate and current.

  • Cost and schedule tracking: Assist with project cost tracking, schedule updates, milestone reporting, variance commentary, and maintaining supporting data for project reviews.

  • Risk, issue & change support: Maintain RAID and change registers, follow up mitigation actions, and support formal change control by preparing information for review and approval.

  • Quality, safety & compliance support: Support adherence to EOS standards, quality requirements, safety expectations, and contractual obligations by maintaining evidence, actions, and project documentation.

  • Continuous improvement: Contribute to lessons learned, process improvements, templates, and project ways of working to improve consistency across delivery activities.

Experience

  • 4+ years delivering complex engineering/technology projects (defence/aerospace/high-tech preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of PMBOK/PRINCE2/Agile, project controls, and assurance/governance frameworks.

  • Experience assisting with supplier, vendor, commercial, or contract administration activities, including tracking deliverables, actions, correspondence, and change information.

  • Exposure to project cost and schedule tracking, including milestone updates, budget inputs, forecast support, variance commentary, and routine reporting.

  • Ability to maintain RAID and action registers, follow up owners, support issue resolution, and escalate risks or constraints in a timely manner.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and familiar with project scheduling, planning, collaboration, or reporting tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Planner, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, or similar.

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline desirable; foundational certification such as PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM, or equivalent is advantageous.
