Technical Trainer & Software Support Specialist - CAD/CAE (IGE-XAO / ETAP)

The job

This role combines technical expertise with a passion for training and customer support. You will join a collaborative and supportive team that values knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Your contribution will help customers successfully adopt and use IGE-XAO/ETAP CAD-CAE software solutions. If you enjoy working closely with people, delivering high-quality training, and being part of a dynamic technical environment, this role is an excellent fit.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical training sessions on IGE-XAO/ETAP electrical CAD-CAE software to customers and partners.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to users via email, phone, and remote assistance.
• Prepare training materials, documentation, and updated learning resources.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and contribute to product improvement feedback.
• Assist in pre-sales activities when required by demonstrating software capabilities.

Essential requirements

• Technical background in electrical engineering, automation, industrial design, or related fields.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools for electrical design.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyse technical problems and propose effective solutions.
• Willingness to work on-site full time in Bergamo.

• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with IGE-XAO or ETAP products.
• Strong teamwork attitude, openness to feedback, and collaborative mindset.
