Senior Software Engineer (Backend Foundation)

Missions

• Architect and build the core infrastructure to manage large, high-throughput flows of data across systems.
• Enable other engineering teams by building core platform functionality, including APIs, data export, and streaming capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product owners, and designers to develop efficient, innovative solutions.

Profil recherché

- Skilled Communication: Ability to communicate technical ideas or issues in easy-to-understand and actionable terms

- Security & Performance Mindset: A high bar for security and performance in every design decision, from data access patterns to system architecture

- Development Experience: Over 5 years of hands-on, relevant experience building core platforms or infrastructure systems that other teams depend on

- Versatile Skillset: Fluent in multiple programming languages, with proficiency in TypeScript and Python preferred

- API & Platform Design: Skilled in designing APIs, data export, and streaming systems that are secure, performant, and easy for other teams to build on

- Bonus: experience in AI, legal tech, and social impact projects

- Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in building resilient, well-architected code and systems designed to handle large volumes of data reliably
