Junior IT Risk Analyst

Competitive business today is all about making intelligent, informed decisions. EY Bulgaria is looking for a Junior IT Risk Analyst to join our successful team of Technology Risk professionals.

The opportunity:

The rapid evolution of technology and the risks related to this now regularly make headline news. The potential impact from threats ranging from external attacks to internal rogue trading makes the need for Technology Risk an item of Board level concern. As a Junior IT Risk Analyst, you will work as a team member on numerous engagements assessing various IT environments in accordance with the Information Security standards and the leading practices.

As a member of our team, you will:

• Analyze information systems, and their supporting IT infrastructure (Operating Systems, Databases and Network Devices), to identify risks and points for improvements
• Participate in understanding of clients’ IT processes and procedures in various industries
• Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client issues
• Perform test of IT General Controls
• Serve as a key resource in delivering quality client services on IT control projects and attestation engagements
• Apply EY key principles, practices, and techniques
• Engage in constant communication with clients’ personnel.
• Document the outcome of the work performed
• Communicate work status and issues to the team on a timely basis.

To become a Junior IT Risk Analyst you should have:

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration with a strong technology affinity, or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English
• Knowledge and understanding of Operating Systems (Windows, Unix/Linux based, etc.), Databases (MS SQL, Oracle, etc.), network and security devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
• Experience in Information Technology, Information Security or IT Audit is considered as advantage.
