Technical Office Engineer

Prepare and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications for steel construction projects.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built records.
Conduct technical analysis and resolve engineering issues arising during project execution.
Assist in the preparation of project schedules, progress reports, and cost estimates.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
Participate in value engineering and optimization of design solutions for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to clarify technical requirements and resolve discrepancies.
Support the tendering process by preparing technical proposals and responding to client queries.
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 0 to 5 years of experience in a technical office engineering role, preferably within steel construction or EPC projects.
Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and construction methodologies.
Civil Engineering: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, and STAAD or similar engineering design software.
Mechanical Engineering: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks or similar engineering design software.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
