Senior SAP Solution Architect | Lisbon

Main tasks

• Analyze business requirements and design logical architecture solutions with controlled impact on the existing application landscape supporting business units;
• Define, design, and specify APIs, ensuring proper integration and alignment with enterprise architecture standards;
• Ensure clear documentation of architecture solutions, maintaining consistency, traceability, and compliance with governance rules;
• Collaborate with stakeholders and global teams to align business needs with scalable and sustainable technical solutions;
• Apply architectural best practices and ensure proper communication and adoption of security rules and technology standards;
• Contribute to project activities by supporting architecture decisions and ensuring quality of deliverables across initiatives;
• Work with SAP ecosystems (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP HANA), ensuring proper integration and alignment with enterprise architecture;
• Maintain updated documentation and support continuous improvement of architectural processes and standards.

Requirements

• Up to 10 years of experience in similar roles;
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar;
• Strong knowledge of application architecture and architectural components;
• Experience in API design and integration practices;
• Experience working with SAP systems such as SAP ERP and SAP HANA;
• Strong focus on documentation, governance, and compliance with architecture standards;
• Ability to analyze business requirements and align them with enterprise architecture frameworks;
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively in global teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR;
• Experience in project environments;
• Architecture certifications (Microsoft, Cloud, or similar);
• Knowledge of Portuguese and Spanish.
