Concrete Placer - Higgins Palmerston North
Higgins Palmerston North is looking for a motivated and hardworking Concrete Placer to join our team. This role will see you involved in a variety of concrete activities across the region. If you enjoy hands on work, take pride in quality finishes, and want to be part of a supportive crew, this could be the opportunity for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing, placing and finishing concrete to a high standard
- Laying concrete kerb and channel
- Operating small plant and equipment safely and efficiently
- Supporting general construction activities as required
- Working as part of a team to deliver safe, high quality outcomes for our customers
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience preparing and finishing concrete
- Experience laying concrete kerb & channel
- Knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance
- Full and clean Class 1 licence - Class 2 with WTR endorsements is an advantage
- Physically fit, reliable and punctual
- Willingness to work flexible hours - our business operates Monday to Sunday
- A positive attitude and commitment to working safely
