In your first year as Senior Tax Analyst, you will ensure accurate and timely VAT compliance across multiple countries, directly supporting Flora Food Group’s financial integrity and operational excellence. This role is vital to managing indirect tax risks and enabling smooth financial processes that keep our business agile and compliant. Your work connects to the heart of our business-helping us deliver better food by ensuring our financial operations are reliable and efficient across global markets.

What you'll do

• Execute VAT and Intrastat return preparation for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Perform regular reconciliations of VAT general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Post adjustment journal entries during month-end to maintain accurate financial statements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance VAT reporting and compliance efficiency.
• Support VAT audits by preparing documentation and coordinating responses with internal and external teams.

Performance

You will own the accuracy and timeliness of VAT compliance, contributing to flawless financial reporting and risk management. Your data-driven approach will help reduce discrepancies and improve process efficiency, supporting the business’s growth and operational excellence. Your role is key to maintaining strong governance and enabling confident decision-making across finance and tax functions.

Care

You will collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and local finance and tax teams, fostering alignment and accountability across functions. Reporting to the Shared Finance Services leadership, you will be part of a global team dedicated to sustainable, compliant financial practices that support Flora Food Group’s long-term success. Your work ensures we do the right thing every day for our associates, consumers, and communities.

You have strong experience in VAT and indirect tax, ideally within multinational or shared services environments. You bring detailed analytical skills and a proactive mindset to identify and solve tax compliance challenges. You are comfortable working with accounting software and ERP systems, and you communicate effectively across global teams. You take pride in delivering precise, reliable financial data that supports business growth and compliance.
