Supplier Quality Engineer Senior

Role Summary:

Responsible for driving Supplier Quality Improvements, working directly with suppliers on Supplier/Process Approvals (Audit), Part Qualification (Flowserve Part Approval Process [FPAP])and Non-Conforming Report (NCR) Resolution to include Containment, Root Cause, Corrective and Preventative Action.Identifytrends within accountable Supplier population andwheredeemedappropriate, engagecentralSupplier Development Team for further detailed supplier improvement support activity.

Your role:

• Leadthe deployment of problem solving and improvement planswithsitesuppliers.

• Partner withDivisional &GlobalQuality& Supply Chaintoanalyzedata onsupplier performanceandidentifyareas of focus.

• Support incustomer complaints /escapesproblem solving(RCA/CA).

• Perform verification audits to suppliers to ensure Corrective Action implementation and sustainability(Control Plan).

• Lead process and product audits to suppliers to verify complianceonFlowserve expectations.

• Facilitateand/or leadPPAP programs as dictated by procurement strategy(preventive)or quality performance(corrective).

• Support the update and maintenance of different Flowserve platforms: AVL, Assessment documentation,SCARand CAPA registers.

• Work with a proactive approachwith Site Supply ChaintoassureSupplierKPIs complianceand reporting(Non-conformances, Rework, Scrap, First Pass Yield, Escapes, Warranties, Corrective Actions).

• FosterContinuous Improvementculture by leadingprojects associated withsuppliersCost ofPoorQuality.

• Assure safety rules are followed as a moral authority in thesuppliers’facilities. Supportm

• aintainingall Quality certifications for the business (ISO 9001:2015, otherssitespecific)as well asexternal audits (customer or third party).

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineeringfield (manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical)

• 5yearsofexperienceinSupplier Quality Assurance, no leadership experience required.

• Previousexperience in metal-mechanic industries and similarbusiness.

• ISO 9001:2015InternalAuditor

• Overall knowledge of API, ASME(Section II,V, VIII, IX)standards.

• Skilled inTeam OrientedProblem Solving& Corrective Actionmanagement(8D, A3).

• Prior experienceleadingAPQP, PPAP, FAI,GD&T,Control Plan(Core Tools)

• Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Practitioneror equivalent

• Skilled in data analysis and quality KPI performance management.

• Experience in QualitySoftwareSystems

• English bilingual, business conversation.

• Must be able to travel both domestic and international50% oftime.

• Outgoing proactivemindset and strongcollaborativeand communication skills.

• Understand project management tools to ensure effective andtimelycompletion of project milestones.

• Use detailed process mapping tools to define and analyze quality workflows.
