  • Provide direction, instruction, coaching, and mentoring to crew members and developing construction personnel, and perform hands-on field work as required.
  • Operate and oversee the safe use of tools and equipment, ensure proper care of company vehicles and assets, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum four years of civil construction experience, preferably in utility, electrical distribution, telecommunications, or related infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a construction crew, with the ability to instruct, train, and mentor workers.
  • Experience in distribution civil construction, including excavation, trenching, foundations, concrete, pole bases, underground infrastructure, duct banks, and site restoration.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, work orders, and contract documents and use them to plan work sequences, resource requirements, and installation procedures.
  • Experience operating or overseeing construction tools and equipment, with a strong understanding of safe construction methods, jobsite coordination, and practical solutions to constructability issues.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding field work and regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
