Overview

As a Manager at Four Principles, you will lead major workstreams within large transformation programmes or manage smaller engagements end-to-end, leading consulting teams and reporting to an Associate Director or Principal. You will be accountable for delivery, team performance, client satisfaction, and commercial outcomes.

Whether leading a workstream within a larger transformation or a standalone engagement, you will ensure that recommendations are translated into sustainable results while developing client capabilities and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

You will play a critical role in aligning client objectives, team performance, and business priorities to ensure successful and sustainable outcomes.

Successful Managers combine strong delivery leadership with commercial awareness, people development, and the ability to navigate complex client and project environments while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

What you will do

Lead Problem Solving and Analysis

• Lead and deliver major workstreams within large transformation programmes or manage smaller engagements end-to-end, with accountability for scope, plan, economics and results.

• Define workstream strategies, project approaches, and implementation plans aligned with client objectives.

• Structure complex business challenges and guide teams in developing practical, data-driven recommendations.

• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring priorities remain aligned with client objectives and overall project goals.

• Integrate operational excellence, organizational change, digital technologies, data, automation, and AI into cohesive transformation solutions that deliver measurable client value.

• Ensure all analyses, recommendations, and deliverables meet high professional and consulting standards.

Deliver Measurable and Sustainable Client Impact

• Lead the successful delivery of transformation initiatives and ensure agreed business outcomes are achieved.

• Manage project risks, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets across assigned workstreams or projects.

• Balance delivery speed, analytical rigor, and implementation practicality to achieve sustainable results.

• Resolve project dependencies, risks, and challenges, escalating issues proactively when required.

• Produce high-quality consulting deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations, Excel models, business cases, proposals and other client-facing materials.

• Anticipate emerging risks, changing client priorities, and resource challenges, adapting plans and approaches to maintain project success.

• Support clients in embedding new ways of working and building internal capabilities that sustain improvements beyond project completion.

• Monitor project economics, resource utilization, and budget performance to ensure successful delivery and commercial health.

Manage Client Relationships

• Own relationships with client stakeholders at senior-manager and department-head level.

• Manage client expectations, resolve issues, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement.

• Influence decision-making by providing balanced perspectives, practical recommendations, and trusted guidance to client stakeholders.

• Design and facilitate workshops, working sessions, and steering committee meetings with Senior Leadership.

• Present recommendations, project updates, and business cases to client leadership teams.

• Identify and develop opportunities for account growth, support proposal development, and contribute to the firm's commercial success through strong client relationships.

Support Team Development

• Lead, coach and develop consulting teams, providing regular feedback and development support.

• Create an environment that promotes accountability, continuous learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

• Take responsibility for team performance, quality standards, and successful project delivery.

• Support career development and succession planning by helping team members build the skills required for future leadership roles.

• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, capability-building, and knowledge development across the firm.

• Support proposal development and business development activities alongside Associate Directors and Principals.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree. We welcome candidates from diverse academic backgrounds who demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, learning agility, consulting potential, and Digital, Data & AI fluency.

• Strong academic track record from a recognized institution.

• 5-8 years of experience in management consulting, operational excellence, supply chain, analytics, digital and technology-enabled transformation, or business transformation.

• Digital, Data & AI Leadership: Leads technology-enabled transformation by integrating operational improvement, process redesign, data, automation, digital technologies, and AI into practical client solutions. Identifies and prioritizes high-value use cases, develops business cases and implementation roadmaps, and leads the interface between business stakeholders and technical specialists. Maintains sufficient understanding of emerging technologies, including AI and Agentic AI, to assess relevance and guide teams toward practical business applications without requiring deep technical specialization.
