Logistics Support (Weekends)
As a Weekend Logistics Associate, you will assist Freeman Herbs Inc. with the effective coordination and distribution of our fresh produce by helping to plan, execute, and support supply chain and transportation operations. In this weekend role, you will help ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of products to our customers and retail partners while providing administrative and operational support to the logistics team.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help prepare daily driver paperwork for outbound freight shipments.
- Maintain and update U.S. and Canadian freight cost spreadsheets and records.
- Enter rack pickups into Exogen and assist with scheduling and coordinating truck pickups.
- Assist with general administrative and logistics-related tasks as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Strong computer and data-entry skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while providing support to a broader team.
- Schedule is 7:00AM to 10:00AM from Saturday and Sunday - candidates must be available both days
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain operations is considered an asset.
