Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced MySQL Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize production databases while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain MySQL 5.7/8.x databases.
Manage database replication, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries and indexing.
Troubleshoot database issues and implement security and access controls.
Develop automation scripts using Shell or Python.
Work with application and infrastructure teams and support production deployments.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in MySQL DBA.
Expertise in replication, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
Good knowledge of Linux, SQL optimization, and Shell scripting.
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM).
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) is preferred.
