Job Description

Fachliche Aufgaben

  • Eigenverantwortliche Leitung, Steuerung und Bearbeitung von Projekten zur Bearbeitung komplexer 2D- und 3D-Modelle (MODFLOW und/oder FEFLOW)

  • Aufbau, Kalibrierung und Validierung komplexer Strömungs- und Transportmodelle

  • Automatisierung von Modellabläufen sowie Varianten- und Szenarienrechnungen

  • Integration von KI-/ML-Ansätzen zur Modelloptimierung, Datenanalyse oder Prognoseunterstützung

  • Erstellung von technischen Berichten, inklusive nachvollziehbarer Dokumentation von Modellansätzen, Annahmen und Ergebnissen

  • Mitarbeit und Übernahme der Teilprojektleitung im Rahmen von komplexen, interdisziplinären Projekten

Qualifikationen und Anforderunge n

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Geowissenschaften, Geologie, Umweltingenieurwissenschaftenoder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung

  • Mehrjährige (min. 5 Jahre) einschlägige Berufserfahrung in der numerischen Grundwassermodellierung im hydrogeologischen Umfeld

  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in MODFLOW und/oder FEFLOW

  • Sicherer Umgang mit Scripting-Sprachen, insbesondere Python

  • Strukturierte, eigenständige und qualitätsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie hohe Problemlösungs- und Analysekompetenz

  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Für diese Position bieten wir ein jährliches Bruttogehalt zwischen 61.700 € und 84.550 €, abhängig von Erfahrung und Qualifikation, sowie ein attraktives Gesamtpaket an Benefits.
