As a Senior Java Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, maintaining, testing and deploying modern web applications and components using Java, Spring Boot and the Spring Framework. Working closely with Tech Leads, Team Leads, Business Analysts, developers and testers, you’ll translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions. The role also involves ensuring application quality, consistency and performance throughout the development lifecycle, while supporting deployment and monitoring across on-premises and cloud-based containerized environments.

Your Mission:

Within our team, you will contribute to the development and evolution of innovative solutions by participating in the full application lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Proven experience in Java development, ideally with Java 17/21, Spring Framework 6.x, Spring Boot 3.x and JPA/Hibernate.Strong experience in designing and developing APIs and web services, including REST and SOAP, as well as asynchronous communication using Kafka.
• Being able to debug, troubleshoot and optimize applications, with a strong focus on performance, stability and quality.Solid experience in unit testing, using JUnit/TestNG, Mockito or similar testing and mocking frameworks.
• Good understanding of data management and data flows, with the ability to contribute to technical and product design phases.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps environments and tools, including Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and ideally Azure DevOps / Microsoft Azure.Good knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, particularly OIDC/OAuth, combined with a strong focus on secure development and quality standards.
• Experience in full-stack development would be a strong plus, particularly with JavaScript and React.

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, including API development, application integration, and data flow management.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain complex technical topics in a clear and pragmatic way.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues, identify root causes and propose efficient and sustainable solutions.
• Autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership of topics while knowing when to involve the wider team.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach, comfortable sharing knowledge, challenging technical decisions constructively and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; French would be considered a strong asset.
