We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a core part of our payments business. As a Senior Product Manager for Payments, you work across the full product lifecycle, from strategy and discovery through specification, delivery, and go-to-market.

Your goal: Grow revenue and transaction volume across your charter, while building operations that scale ahead of headcount.

Your scoreboard is business impact, spanning growth metrics such as revenue and transaction volume, as well as operational efficiency metrics like time per task and hours saved per month, all tied to how the product actually performs in market.

Your domain spans the following, and will evolve as the business grows:

• Payments scaling: Grow existing payments products into new segments, markets, and use cases across our licensed footprint.
• Merchant acquiring: Own onboarding and underwriting, pricing, settlement, reconciliation, and dispute and chargeback workflows for a new acquiring business line, from initial merchant proposition through to a repeatable, scalable product.
• AI-driven operations: Apply AI and automation to onboarding, reconciliation, support, and risk review, reducing manual effort and improving high-quality throughput.
• Strategic initiatives: Pick up other cross-functional or strategic projects.

Requirements

What you will do:

• Roadmap execution: Own and deliver the roadmap across your domain, prioritising on business impact while tracking net revenue, take rate, merchant activation, payment success rates, and cost per transaction.
• Discovery: Merchant interviews, usability testing, and transaction-level analysis to locate revenue and friction across the payment journey.
• Product design & delivery: Prototype and test new product concepts that close gaps and drive growth. Build detailed specifications and partner with engineering to ship features on schedule at the quality bar required for regulated financial infrastructure.
• Risk & compliance: Design KYB, AML, sanctions screening, transaction limits, and PS Act obligations into the product, working with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Treasury to deliver auditable outcomes.
• AI-augmented execution: Use AI tools to speed up research synthesis, spec writing, prototyping, and other parts of the product workflow.
• Cross-functional leadership: Proactively keep cross-functional teammates informed and aligned on product progress and the roadmap. Drive complex projects across engineering, design, operations, risk, sales, and finance through influence.
• Go-to-market: Own pricing, positioning, sales enablement, support readiness, merchant migration, and adoption tracking for every launch.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years in product management, with experience shipping payments, fintech, or other regulated financial products (or adjacent regulated-industry experience).
• Track record of taking tech products from research and ideation through launch and go-to-market.
• Domain knowledge: Credible, hands-on expertise in at least one of:
• Card acquiring/issuing economics: Authorisation, capture, settlement, scheme rules, interchange, and take-rate economics.
• Merchant lifecycle: Onboarding, underwriting, reconciliation, disputes, and chargeback resolution.
• Cross-border payments and multi-jurisdiction licensing across Southeast Asia.
• Preferred: experience launching a new business line or 0-to-1 product inside an established company; experience operating across multiple Southeast Asian regulatory regimes.
• Independent in SQL and dashboards, comfortable working through large or messy datasets and turning them into a clear narrative.
• Proficient with AI tools and comfortable building with them as part of day-to-day execution, from research synthesis and spec writing through prototyping.
• High ownership and agency: able to structure ambiguous, complex problems, create direction where none exists, and carry cross-functional teams with you.
• Collaborative, high-integrity, direct with bad news, and holding a high bar for quality and detail.
