Technical Sales Representative China

Join Gautier Semences and contribute to the development of our business and varieties in the Chinese market.

Your responsibilities

Working closely with Gautier Semences teams and our local partners, you will be responsible for:

• Developing the business and providing technical support to customers and distributors.

• Managing Sales Administration activities, including quotations, order processing, shipment coordination, invoicing and payment follow-up.

• Planning, implementing and monitoring variety trials in China.

• Analysing trial results, providing variety positioning recommendations and sharing relevant market feedback.

• Preparing reports and sales forecasts, and ensuring effective coordination with Gautier Semences teams and local partners.

This position combines sales development, technical expertise, field activity and operational coordination, offering a key role in strengthening Gautier Semences' presence and supporting the development of our varieties in China.

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in agronomy, horticulture, crop production, agricultural business or a related field.

• You ideally have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the seed industry, agricultural inputs or B2B technical sales.

• You are fluent in Mandarin and have a professional command of English. French would be an advantage.

• You are proficient in Excel and comfortable working with CRM, ERP and reporting tools.

• You are customer- and results-oriented, with strong administrative accuracy and excellent field observation skills.

• You are autonomous, organised, reliable and responsive, with strong analytical abilities.

• You have excellent cross-cultural communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with internal teams, customers and business partners.

• A good understanding of vegetable crops, variety development cycles and field-trial principles would be a strong advantage.
