This position will be based in Birmingham,AL. Interns will be onsite at the Birmingham headquarters.
Responsibilities
Support the team to ensure system reliability, scalability, and uptime.
Assistto incident response and root cause analysis to improve system resilience.
Help monitorand maintain cloud resources to ensure optimalperformance and cost efficiency.
Actively participatebrainstorming sessions, and technical discussions and provide suggestions.
Participatein automation and continuous process improvement cycles.
Work alongside senior team members on assigned task.
Qualifications:
Working on a BS degree in a computer related field (e.g.Computer Science, Engineering)
Familiarlywith SRE principles
Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies (Google Cloud preferred)
Familiaritywith web technology, DevOps monitoring tools
Familiarityof DevOps practices(e.g.CI/CD pipelines, containerization,and orchestration)
Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance.
Individualmust be a self-starter and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn new technologiesand adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solvingand operation support skills.
