We are looking for a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to protect our depot, employees, batteries, vehicles, equipment, and other company assets. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe and secure environment through access control, regular patrols, and prompt reporting of any security concerns.
Responsibilities- Manage entry to the depot and verify that personnel and vehicles are authorized.
- Monitor the movement of batteries, vehicles, and other company assets.
- Conduct routine security patrols throughout the premises.
- Identify and report suspicious activities or potential security threats.
- Immediately report theft, damage, accidents, security breaches, or other incidents.
- Ensure gates, doors, and designated security points are properly secured.
- Monitor compliance with security and safety procedures.
- Support emergency and evacuation procedures when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Depot Manager or management.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND.
- Ability to read and write.
- Previous security experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Honest, responsible, and professional.
- Ability to remain alert and respond appropriately to security situations.
