Summary:
Automotive CAE Engineer with experience in Crash & Durability
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing LS-DYNA or Radioss.
- Utilize Hyperworks Suite for preprocessing tasks and meshing.
- Experience in Durability CAE with Optistruct/Nastran.
- Interpret data, develop, and report countermeasures using Hyperworks Suite for post processing.
- Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.
- Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
- Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes.
- Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 6+ years of Crash Safety CAE experience and/or Durability CAE
- Experience with CAE tools such as Hypermesh, Optistruct, Radioss required
- Experience with HyperView, Hypergraph for post processing preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including excel.
