Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services primarily using Java (Spring Boot).
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e. g., PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Implement event-driven architectures and work with data streaming systems (e. g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices in application development.
• Be excited to explore and work on new technologies that can improve efficiency, scalability, and system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
• Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, making trade-offs where necessary.
• Optimize and improve system reliability, scalability, and observability.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot). Experience with Python or Go is a plus.
• Deep understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with data streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc. ).
• Experience contributing to at least one complex, high-scale project.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make trade-offs in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of application security principles (e. g., OWASP, authentication mechanisms) is an added advantage.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and making decisions in evolving environments.
• Strong sense of ownership and a focus on making an impact.
