Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Maintain margarine processing equipment, including blending tanks, agitators, pumps, pipelines, heat exchangers, SSHE/Votator, and chilling systems, where applicable.
• Maintain packaging machinery, including sachet/pouch packing, tub filling and sealing, and 15 kg bag-in-box lines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and minimize equipment downtime.
• Support installation, commissioning, equipment trials, and performance optimization.
• Maintain utilities equipment, including compressors, refrigeration systems, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Manage critical spare parts, maintenance schedules, and equipment history.
• Implement TPM, 5S, RCA, and Kaizen initiatives to improve reliability and OEE.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
