Job Title: Internal Auditor

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Auditor to join our hospitality team in Ibadan.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies, identifying operational risks, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic audits of financial, operational, and administrative processes.
• Review accounting records, transactions, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate discrepancies, fraud risks, and control weaknesses.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure implementation.
• Support management in risk assessment and mitigation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Internal Audit, Audit, Accounting, or a related role.
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN or in progress) will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
