Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Software Implementation / Technical Support Engineer with strong experience in Python, SQL, Linux/Unix environments, UAT/SIT, REST APIs, and system integration. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in production-like environments, troubleshooting complex technical issues, investigating logs and database transactions, validating integrations, and supporting SIT/UAT and implementation activities. This role requires strong problem-solving, debugging, scripting, and technical investigation skills, with the ability to work across application, API, database, and infrastructure layers.

Responsibilities:

• Support software implementation, integration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and production stabilisation activities.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, log parsing, data validation, health checks, and troubleshooting.
• Investigate application and integration issues across APIs, services, databases, and Linux environments.
• Analyse application and transaction logs to identify root causes of failures and data inconsistencies.
• Perform database investigation and validation using SQL queries.
• Work with RESTful APIs and troubleshoot API/integration failures, HTTP errors, authentication issues, and data-flow problems.
• Participate in SIT/UAT, test execution, defect investigation, validation, and issue closure.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, QA, Implementation, and Customer-facing teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support field/production deployments and perform post-deployment health checks and validation.
• Create reusable utilities and scripts to improve troubleshooting and operational efficiency.
• Document technical issues, root-cause analysis, solutions, and implementation procedures.

Requirements:

• Key Mandatory Skills: Python, SQL, Linux/Unix, UAT/SIT.
• Candidates must have hands-on practical experience in all four areas.
