SDET I

We are looking for an SDET 1 / QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test cases, maintaining automation frameworks, identifying defects, and working closely with development and QA teams to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Create and execute automation test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Work with TestNG/JUnit for test execution and reporting.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks.
• Identify, debug, and report defects with proper documentation.
• Perform API testing using REST APIs/Rest Assured.
• Participate in test planning and identify scenarios suitable for automation.
• Integrate and execute automation suites through CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain automation code using Git/GitHub.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in software testing/QA automation/SDET.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
• Good understanding of automation framework concepts.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle.
• Good understanding of Git.
• Basic knowledge of API testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and defect life cycle.
• Good to Have: REST Assured, Cucumber / BDD, Jenkins / CI/CD, SQL, Docker, Performance Testing, Cloud Testing Platforms, Page Object Model (POM).
