Job description
1.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
§Managing the full import and export process.
§Liaising with shippers and principals.
§Coordinating with operations teams and contractors regarding deliveries.
§Preparing and issuing computed invoices to clients.
§Collecting ocean freight for both import and export shipments and releasing export bills.
§Compiling cargo dues and processing trans-shipment orders.
§Releasing cargo in accordance with company procedures.
§Ensuring all applicable charges are received and accounted for.
§Preparing manifests by capturing bills onto the principal’s system.
§Compiling month-end estimates for finance reporting purposes.
§Attending to account-related and disbursement queries.
§Assisting with workload overflow from other desks as required.
