Your main responsibilities include:

  • Read, create, and modify 2D/3D drawings, including reverse engineering components from 3D scans using surface modeling techniques to produce solid models
  • Conduct engineering calculations and analysis (FEA, Torsional, Seismic) per national codes such as HI, UL, ANSI to optimize product quality and minimize cost
  • Lead and manage new product development and cost reduction projects, establishing plans and driving timely completion across cross-functional teams
  • Maintain and update product data across electronic and manual selection tools including configurators, ERP, Revit, and web platforms
  • Develop and maintain design standards, specifications, work instructions, and procedures while supporting industry standards and third-party approvals (UL, FM, NFPA, NSF, CE, DOE)
  • Support assembly, test, sales, and order processing teams by providing engineering consultation and participating in quality review meetings

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you're a detail-oriented engineer with strong analytical skills, hands-on 3D modeling proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment.

We'd also imagine that you are/have:

  • Four-year technical or engineering degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling/2D drafting software (CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD)
  • Ability to perform design calculations and analyses such as FEA, Torsional, Seismic, and CFD
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems

It's a plus if you also:

  • 5+ years of experience in product engineering within a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of pump/rotating equipment principles, hydraulics, and product applications
  • Knowledge of international standards such as HI, UL, FM, NFPA, NSF, CE, and DOE
  • You'll also be available for travelling up to 13 days per year.

Why you'll love working here

Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
