Planning Engineer- Marine

Guildhall is recruiting on behalf of a leading international construction contractor for a Marine Planning Engineer to support the successful delivery of major civil and infrastructure projects across the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing project team working on large-scale developments, contributing to project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and overall project controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans to support project execution.
• Monitor project progress, analyze schedule performance, and identify potential delays and risks.
• Conduct critical path analysis (CPA) and recommend corrective actions to maintain project milestones.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate planning and reporting.
• Prepare progress reports, schedule updates, and planning documentation for management and clients.
• Support resource planning, productivity monitoring, and project control activities.
• Ensure planning activities align with project objectives, contractual requirements, and construction methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction projects, including buildings, infrastructure, marine, breakwater, or beach development works.
• 2-5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling roles.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, including programme development, schedule updates, progress monitoring, resource loading, and reporting.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, work sequencing, critical path analysis (CPA), and project controls.
• Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
• UAE or GCC project experience is an advantage.
