Job Description

The SAPBTP Integration Expert is responsible for managing the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems.

This role works closely with peer Integration Experts and Integration Manager, SAP Solution Owners, other ERP Technical teams, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and SI partners to deliver integration solutions that secure, resilient, compliant, performant, and future-ready and meet business requirements adhering to all best practices and Haleon organizational standards.

The successful candidate will develop and support integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CI), API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors, while contributing to integration modernization initiatives and supporting the migration of existing SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP BTP Integration Suite. The role is expected to primarily work independently on assigned deliverables and actively contribute to continuous improvement of the integration platform and development practices, while providing expert guidance to larger Integration teams.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Solution Design & Delivery

• Design and develop integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration, API Management, SFTP, and B2B scenarios.
• Develop robust and scalable integration architectures that support business requirements and enterprise standards.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and integration specifications.
• Ensure all technical developments comply with SAP and organizational development standards, security requirements, and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance to larger Integration team and vendor partner’s team members.

SAP BTP Integration Suite Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Integration Flows (iFlows).
• Configure and utilize SAP adapters including REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SuccessFactors, SFTP, JDBC, and other supported adapters.
• Develop integrations involving SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, files, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Build and publish APIs using SAP API Management and implement security policies including OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and Client Certificate Authentication.
• Develop both synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios.

Platform Operations & Support

• Support existing SAP PI/PO integrations while driving migration to SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Ensure platform stability, availability, performance, vulnerability management, keep environment current activities including regular patching and upgrades and operational excellence.
• Ensure the Integration platform is secure, resilient, compliant, performant, and future-ready.
• Provide production support, cutover assistance, hyper-care, and post-go-live activities.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary liaison between integration teams, functional consultants, business stakeholders, and external partners.
• Collaborate closely with Security, Infrastructure, Basis, SAP Functional, and Application Support teams.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with implementation partners and service providers.
• Support project planning, estimation, risk identification, and delivery governance activities.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate constantly with SAP on SAP’s Integration platform and its roadmap.
• Stay up to date with SAP Integration Suite innovations, releases, and industry’s best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve integration capabilities.
• Contribute to integration modernization initiatives involving APIs, Event Mesh, cloud-native integration patterns, and automation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• B2B/EDI Integration
• SFTP and File-Based Integration
• SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC Integration
• SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, Salesforce, and other SaaS integrations
• OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, Certificates, and API Security
• Message Mapping, XSLT, Groovy Scripting, and Integration Patterns

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 5 + years of experience in SAP integration technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (IS) and Cloud Integration (CPI)
• Experience with SAP PI/PO implementation, support, or migration projects.
• Proven experience delivering full lifecycle integration projects, including design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP enterprise applications including API Integration, B2B/EDI Integration, A2A Integrations scenarios in a large-scale SAP landscape.
• Exposure to SAP ECC and S/4HANA integration scenarios.
