About the team

People Solutions Excellence exists to drive executional excellence in HR operations, services and transactions. We help improve how People Solutions operates by making processes simpler, services better, decisions more data-driven, and change more successful.

We're a global team of experts in process improvement, people experience, service excellence, data and analytics, reporting, and project delivery. Working closely with our HR Centres of Excellence and People Solutions teams, we solve problems, streamline ways of working, and drive continuous improvement.

Our role is to create consistent, scalable solutions that work globally while allowing for local needs where required. We bridge the gap between business requirements and operational delivery; helping People Solutions deliver better experiences, stronger outcomes, and lasting adoption of change.

The HR PMO is a critical capability within this team. It provides the governance, structure and delivery discipline that turns strategic ambition into measurable outcomes. By ensuring initiatives are prioritised, coordinated and executed effectively, the PMO enables sustainable transformation and continuous improvement across the entire employee journey.

About the role

As a People Experience & Change Specialist (Associate Project Manager), you will help turn CI initiatives and transformation ambitions into outcomes that deliver better employee experiences through change and transformation.

Reporting to the Programme Manager - Transformation, you will support the delivery of strategic People Solutions initiatives by providing project management discipline, stakeholder engagement, governance support and change execution.

You will coordinate projects from planning through implementation, ensuring milestones are achieved, risks are managed, stakeholders remain engaged and employees are prepared to adopt new ways of working. Success will be measured through high-quality delivery, strong stakeholder experiences, and the sustainable adoption of change that improves employee, manager and HR experiences globally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of People Solutions transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and in budget, meet business objectives and improve employee, manager and HR experiences.

  • Translate project objectives into clear delivery plans, milestones and outcomes, ensuring customer experience and adoption considerations are embedded from the outset.

  • Maintain project plans, RAID logs, action trackers and governance documentation to provide clear visibility of progress, risks and dependencies.

  • Coordinate project activities across People Solutions, Digital & Technology, Global Process Owners, HR CoEs and regional HR teams, to ensure effective execution of solutions that are simple, scalable and user-centred.

  • Produce status reports, dashboards and governance materials that support informed decision-making and leadership oversight.

  • Track risks, issues and dependencies proactively, escalating where required and helping teams identify practical solutions.

  • Support stakeholder engagement activities by building trusted relationships and ensuring stakeholders remain informed, aligned and engaged throughout delivery.

  • Develop and execute communication, training and adoption plans that help employees and managers successfully transition to new processes, tools and ways of working.

  • Assess change impacts and support change readiness activities to help minimise disruption and accelerate adoption.

  • Gather feedback, insights and performance measures to evaluate the effectiveness of change and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Champion consistent project management and change management practices across the People Solutions portfolio.

  • Support the continuous improvement of PMO templates, tools, governance and ways of working.

  • Contribute to building project and change management capability across People Solutions teams through coaching, guidance and sharing best practices.
