The Opportunity

The Vice President, Executive Compensation & Reporting will play a key role in supporting the design, administration, analysis, and reporting of the firm’s executive compensation and equity programs. This individual will help ensure our programs remain competitive, well-governed, and compliant, while also partnering across Finance, Legal, HR, Payroll, and senior leadership on compensation-related accounting, disclosure, and strategic initiatives.

This role is ideal for a professional who brings a strong blend of executive compensation, equity administration, financial reporting, and cross-functional partnership in a public company or similarly complex environment.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the administration and ongoing enhancement of executive compensation, annual incentive, and long-term equity programs.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and governance practices, and recommend updates to executive pay programs as appropriate.
  • Partner with Compensation leadership on strategic initiatives, including special incentives, retention programs, M&A-related compensation matters, and other high-priority projects.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on executive compensation and equity-related matters, including market practice, plan design, compliance requirements, and disclosure considerations.
  • Provide analytical support for executive compensation decisions, including review of financial performance, stock price performance, incentive outcomes, and equity award activity.
  • Support compensation-related accounting and reporting for cash- and stock-based awards, including close coordination with Finance and external administrators as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for senior leadership, C-Suite executives, and the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Gather and help prepare information for proxy reporting, SEC-related disclosures, compensation tables, client RFP responses, and other internal or external reporting needs.
  • Partner proactively with Finance, Legal, HR, Payroll, and outside vendors to ensure accurate administration, reporting, and compliance across programs.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with executives and plan participants regarding compensation matters, while handling highly sensitive information with discretion.

Your background will include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Compensation, with significant experience in executive compensation, equity programs, and/or compensation-related financial reporting.
  • Public company experience strongly preferred; financial services and/or consulting experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of executive compensation, equity awards, proxy/disclosure support, and related regulatory and governance considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across Compensation, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and HR on complex, high-visibility initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional workstreams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex compensation and financial concepts for varied audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with sound judgment and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with equity administration and reporting tools is a plus.
