Maintenance plan implementation:
• Put the preventive and predictive maintenance plans into action every week.
• Check that work orders are planned, completed and closed in the CMMS on time.
• Track plan completion and report gaps to the Maintenance Manager.
• Lead breakdown repairs and root cause analysis, so the same failure does not return.
• Plan and run shutdowns and overhauls.
Spare parts management and overhaul:
• Manage mechanical spare parts: critical spares, minimum and maximum levels, reorder points.
• Plan the spare parts for each overhaul before it starts: bearings, seals, gearboxes, pumps, valves and belts. • Keep critical spares in stock and check stock accuracy every month.
• Review slow-moving and obsolete parts every quarter.
• Follow the overhaul schedule for major equipment and record the results
Technical team management:
• Lead, schedule and train the mechanics team.
• Assign daily jobs by priority and skill.
• Track attendance, overtime and quality of work.
• Control the maintenance budget and report monthly variance.
HACCP and food safety:
• Make sure maintenance work follows the HACCP plan and food safety rules.
• Use only food-grade lubricants, and food-safe gaskets and seals, in product areas.
• Get a sanitation release before work in a product area, and check cleanliness before restart.
• Control tools and check for loose parts after each job (foreign body control).
• Keep equipment that affects critical control points calibrated and in good condition.
• Report any maintenance-related food safety problem to QA in the same shift.
Safety:
Enforce lockout/tagout, permit to work and machine guarding.
• Make sure the team uses the right PPE and is trained.
• Report accidents and near misses, and follow up corrective actions.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least 5 years in industrial maintenance, including 2 years in a food or juice concentrate plant.
• Experience leading a mechanics team. • Knowledge of CMMS, preventive maintenance planning and spare parts control.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety; HACCP training is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety rules, including lockout/tagout and permit to work.
• English language level B2.
