Role Overview:
As an Associate Director of Cloud Security, you will spearhead the strategic implementation and operational excellence of our CNAPP ecosystem, with a primary focus on the Wiz platform. You will serve as the bridge between high-level security architecture and hands-on DevSecOps execution, ensuring our multi-cloud environments remain resilient against evolving threats. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, global stakeholders, and IT leadership, you will drive the maturity of our cloud security posture. Your work will directly influence the organization's risk profile, enabling secure innovation at scale while ensuring seamless compliance across AWS and Azure infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy comprehensive CNAPP strategies using Wiz to provide end-to-end visibility into cloud risks, ensuring proactive threat mitigation across complex environments.
- Lead the integration of security guardrails into CI/CD pipelines to foster a robust DevSecOps culture, enabling developers to build securely without compromising deployment velocity.
- Orchestrate large-scale vulnerability management and CSPM programs to identify and remediate misconfigurations, protecting critical business assets from unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with IT Governance and Compliance teams to automate audit readiness, translating technical security controls into actionable compliance analytics for executive reporting.
- Manage the security lifecycle of containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters, ensuring that identity management and access policies are strictly enforced across the cloud fabric.
- Mentor high-performing security teams and manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring that security initiatives align with broader business objectives and cloud transformation roadmaps.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing enterprise-grade security architectures within AWS and Azure, with a deep understanding of cloud-native security principles.
- Proven ability to leverage the Wiz platform to drive CNAPP initiatives, including workload protection, infrastructure-as-code scanning, and identity-based risk analysis.
- Strong proficiency in managing Kubernetes security, vulnerability lifecycle management, and implementing automated compliance frameworks in hybrid cloud environments.
- Exceptional leadership and program management capabilities, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-departmental security projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical security risks to non-technical business leaders and drive consensus across global teams.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach, capable of navigating the complexities of a 9 - 11 year career trajectory in high-stakes security environments.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment based in Pune or Hyderabad, maintaining high standards of operational discipline and technical rigor.
