Role summary
The Offshore Alliance Manager works closely with engineering, architecture and GTM teams to run HCLTech's NVIDIA alliance from India, turning alliance programs into AI solution adoption: partner programs, deal registration, funding, co-sell and reporting. The role keeps HCLTech's NVIDIA Elite status and rebate eligibility secure.
Skill Requirements
Key responsibilities
Partner program and status
- Own HCLTech's NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN) compliance: POS reporting to the NPN portal on schedule, with accurate data across regions.
- Track and protect Elite status and rebate eligibility, and flag shortfalls to the Global Alliance Lead early enough to act.
- Run the NVIDIA rebate and Elite action tracker, including reseller agreements and approvals needed to qualify purchases.
Program execution and co-sell
- Execute alliance programs that enable AI solution adoption: enablement, certifications, campaigns and partner readiness.
- Coordinate with engineering and architecture to align partner offerings to approved reference architectures and solution patterns.
- Track partner-led pipeline, MDF ROI, certifications and activations, and report actionable insights to GTM leadership.
- Support co-sell execution by managing operational cadences, communications and partner tooling workflows.
- Maintain partner enablement assets (solution mappings, playbooks, technical alignment notes) for repeatable execution.
- Identify friction points in partner execution and route issues to the right engineering and GTM owners for resolution.
Deal registration and funding
- Lead deal registration with NVIDIA across regions, with clear rules on what is registered, when and by whom, and track every deal through to outcome.
- Identify, apply for and track MDF and partner funding, and CSP funding programs run through NVIDIA, with the right owners in each region.
- Reconcile registered deals with HCLTech's internal pipeline and Sales Central, working with Sales Ops.
Revenue tracking
- Track revenue from the NVIDIA alliance end to end (registered deals, bookings and POS details), coordinating with the different lines of business (LOBs) to collect and validate the data.
- Publish a consolidated view of deals and POS against targets to the Global Alliance Lead and leadership each month.
Governance and operations
- Run the alliance operating cadence: monthly and quarterly reviews, minutes, action tracking and leadership reporting.
- Coordinate NVIDIA-facing requests across Software, AI Force, DFS, the EBU, CTO and Marketing so that NVIDIA hears one HCLTech voice.
- Coordinate vendor and contract items with NVIDIA.
- Liaise between HCLTech marketing (Ecosystem Marketing and the NVIDIA EBU marketing managers) and NVIDIA's partner marketing team on joint campaigns, events, press releases and PR, keeping calendars, approvals and brand requirements aligned.
Event management and coordination
- Manage and coordinate HCLTech's participation in NVIDIA events, such as GTC and regional events: planning, session submissions, registrations, logistics and follow-up.
- Coordinate across LOBs, Ecosystem Marketing and NVIDIA's event teams, and track leads and outcomes from each event.
Other Requirements
Qualifications and experience
- 12 to 15 years in alliance management, partner operations, channel or sales operations, with at least 5 years managing a technology OEM, hyperscaler or distributor alliance.
- Direct experience with a partner program that has tiers, rebates and deal registration. NVIDIA, Dell, HPE, Cisco, AWS or Microsoft programs are all relevant.
- Proven record of managing funding programs and partner reporting with auditable data.
- Has led a team of 2 or more and worked comfortably with senior stakeholders in the US and Europe.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Willing to work overlapping hours with the US and Europe.
