The role involves hands-on administration of VMware, Proxmox, Linux/RHEL systems, and core enterprise services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure. This position requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, automation experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical telecom environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Virtualization & Infrastructure Management

• Administer and manage VMware stack (ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, vMotion, DRS, HA)
• Deploy, manage, and maintain Proxmox Virtual Environment (PVE)
• Provision and manage virtual machines for production, lab, and testing environments
• Ensure high availability, capacity planning, and performance tuning of virtualization platforms 2. Linux / RHEL System Administration
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) systems
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and kernel updates
• Monitor system health, logs, performance, and resource utilization
• Troubleshoot OS-level issues in production environments 3. Core Infrastructure Services
• Administer enterprise services: o Active Directory (AD) o Microsoft 365 o DNS / DHCP o Identity & Access Management
• Ensure service availability and integration across platforms 4. Automation & Configuration Management
• Develop and maintain automation using: o Ansible o Shell / Python scripting
• Automate provisioning, patching, and operational tasks
• Improve operational efficiency through infrastructure-as-code practices 5. Networking & Security
• Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
• Configure and maintain firewalls and security policies
• Implement security best practices: o Access control o Encryption o Vulnerability management 6. Backup, Recovery & Migration
• Manage enterprise backup solutions and disaster recovery processes
• Perform and validate backup/restore operations
• Support data center migration and modernization initiatives
• Participate in hybrid/cloud transformation projects 7. Monitoring & Incident Management
• Implement and manage infrastructure monitoring tools
• Perform proactive issue detection and resolution
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL aligned) 8. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Work closely with R&D, Delivery, and support teams
• Participate in system improvements and optimization initiatives
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies
• Contribute

Key Responsibilities

1. To conduct thorough analysis of user needs and system specifications.

2. To develop detailed design specifications and documentation including system components and user interfaces.

3. To create prototypes to illustrate the functionality of the software ,gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user /stakeholder input.

4. To collaborate with cross-functional teams, to create cohesive and user-friendly interfaces.
