Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Frontend Technical Lead with strong expertise in React.js and Node.js to drive the development of scalable, high-performance digital commerce applications for a leading beauty retail client. The role requires strong technical leadership, client engagement, and onsite-offshore coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Lead frontend design, architecture, and development using React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Drive technical decisions, code reviews, performance optimization, and best practices.
Develop reusable UI components and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
Collaborate with client stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Coordinate with offshore teams, resolve technical blockers, and ensure quality delivery.
Support eCommerce journeys including product discovery, cart, checkout, and personalization.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Experience with Redux, React Hooks, REST APIs, HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and security.
Experience with Agile, Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Proven technical leadership and excellent client-facing communication skills.
Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
Good to Have
Experience with Next.js, GraphQL, and micro-frontends.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Experience in retail/eCommerce, preferably beauty or luxury retail.
Knowledge of headless commerce and platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Adobe Commerce.
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on technical lead with strong React.js and Node.js expertise, capable of independently managing client technical discussions and driving delivery with offshore engineering teams.
