Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading the end-to-end elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management of functional and non-functional requirements for large, complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning standard and complementary products. The Business Analyst partners with the Business Solutions Lead, business stakeholders, product teams, architects, technology delivery teams, operations, quality assurance, and external vendors to translate business strategy and desired outcomes into clear, complete, and implementation-ready requirements.The position identifies business, technology, data, integration, operational, and vendor dependencies; facilitates stakeholder alignment and requirements approval; and maintains traceability from business objectives through solution delivery, testing, and implementation.
NOTE: This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL; DOWNERS GROVE, IL; or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available including if you are currently on OPT.
Required Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of Information Technology experience; technical certification and/or college coursework and four years of Information Technology experience; or six years of Information Technology experience.
- Demonstrated experience performing business analysis for large, complex, or cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Experience eliciting requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process analysis, document review, and collaborative refinement sessions.
- Ability to translate business objectives into epics, features, user stories, use cases, business rules, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience identifying impacts and dependencies across business processes, applications, data, interfaces, operations, and third-party vendors.
- Knowledge of system architecture, integrations, data flows, and application portfolios sufficient to support solution analysis.
- Experience managing requirements traceability, approvals, changes, risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Experience using requirements and work-management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, iterative and/or Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Experience supporting test planning, test-case development, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and implementation readiness.
- Ability to simplify and standardize complex concepts and processes.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect requirements to intended business outcomes.
- Ability to facilitate alignment and influence stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, workstreams, and delivery timelines.
- Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Four or more years of hands-on business analysis or requirements-management experience.
- Experience supporting large healthcare-payer technology initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare products and processes such as benefits, eligibility, enrollment, claims, member experience, provider interactions, or care management.
- Experience with complementary products, vendor-enabled solutions, and integrations between internal and third-party platforms.
- Experience defining file, API, reporting, data-exchange, and interoperability requirements.
- Experience with business-process management, process modeling, or BPMN.
- Experience with Planview, Jira, Confluence, or test-management tools.
- Business-analysis certification such as ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range
$61,500.00 - $136,100.00Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
