Job Summary
Heleph Coffee Export Company is looking for a qualified and experienced Internal Auditor to evaluate financial transactions, internal controls, operational procedures, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular financial and operational audits.
Review financial documents, vouchers, receipts, and payment transactions.
Verify coffee purchases, sales, stock movements, and inventory balances.
Evaluate compliance with company policies and procedures.
Identify financial irregularities, risks, and control weaknesses.
Conduct surprise cash and inventory counts.
Review procurement, purchasing, and payment processes.
Prepare audit reports and submit findings to management.
Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
Assess the effectiveness of internal control systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant audit experience.
Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles.
Understanding of internal control systems and risk assessment.
Knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
High level of independence, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
