Job Description:
What you will do :
- Design, develop, and test high-quality solutions for networking systems, with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Perform QA and solution testing using network routers, switches, and virtual networking environments.
- Drive end-to-end testing of networking solutions, identifying issues and contributing to effective resolution.
- Act as a subject matter expert, participating in architecture discussions and contributing to technical and architectural decisions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partner with Engineering Managers and other stakeholders to drive technical initiatives and solve customer problems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry advancements and apply relevant learnings to improve solutions.
What you need to bring :
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong coding skills in Python and Unix environments.
- Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and virtual networking.
- Hands-on knowledge of QA/testing involving network routers and switches.
- Good understanding of software testing and networking systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and contribute to solution testing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with virtual networking technologies.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Red Hat OS and Unix internals.
- Strong learning mindset with an interest in keeping up with the latest technologies and tooling.
