Construction Manager

Job Summary:

Highr Recruitment is seeking experienced Site Managers and Construction Managers to oversee major building and infrastructure projects in Rwanda. The roles involve managing construction activities, coordinating teams, and ensuring projects meet quality, safety, budget, and delivery requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily construction activities and site operations.
• Manage building and infrastructure works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site engineers, and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor construction schedules, budgets, and project milestones.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management.

• Degree or relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Site Management or Construction Management.
• Proven experience delivering building, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project programming, and health and safety.
• Willingness to relocate to Rwanda.

• Previous international or African project experience.
