Job Summary:

Nokia is seeking an experienced IP Core Engineer to manage and optimize Airtel Rwanda's network infrastructure, focusing on Juniper routers, firewalls, and switches. The role involves maintaining network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring reliable network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and configure Juniper routers, firewalls, and switches.
Monitor network performance and identify optimization opportunities.
Troubleshoot network issues and minimize downtime.
Work with the network operations team on network changes and upgrades.
Document network configurations and maintain accurate records.
Conduct network audits and recommend improvements.
Stay updated on Juniper technologies and best practices.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and administrators.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards.
Participate in after-hours on-call support when required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar IP Core Engineering role.
Mandatory expertise in Juniper routers, firewalls, and switches.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture.
Experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
