Production Support Engineer

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer to provide L1 application support, incident management, troubleshooting, and ITIL-based service operations. The candidate should have strong experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, web servers, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor incident queues, perform incident triage, and handle escalations.

- Provide L1 production/application support and root cause analysis.

- Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes following ITIL standards.

- Manage server certificates and work with Middleware teams on SSO configurations.

- Coordinate releases with internal teams and vendors.

- Identify process gaps and contribute to automation and continuous improvement.

- Participate in on-call and weekend support rotations.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in Application/Production Support.

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server/Desktop and Microsoft SQL Server.

- Experience with SSRS, SSIS, SQL, Python, and PowerShell.

- Knowledge of Web Servers, Citrix, RDP, VMware, SAN, networking, and backup/restore.

- Experience with automation and scheduling tools.

- Good understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem & Change Management.

- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.

- Willingness to work in rotational/on-call support, including weekends when required.

Education :

- UG : B.Tech / B.E. in Any Specialization

- PG : MCA in Any Specialization, M.Tech in Any Specialization
