Job Description:

As Hitachi Rail Singapore, we are advancing rail signalling and safety solutions to ensure safe and efficient railway operations worldwide. Our technologies help to bring billions of people reliably to their destinations by rail every year - making sustainable mobility a reality.

Project Intern (NEL, V&V) (Ref. No.R1012495)

at our location in Singapore

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

• Support software verification and validation process.
• Troubleshoot and create tools to resolve incidents.
• Document and communicate procedures, configurations, and standards effectively.
• Strive to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and availability of systems by applying software engineering practices and by implementing application monitors and alerts.
• Help the team in any other area within the scope of software development life cycle.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course in Computer Science or any related technical field (e.g., Engineering) and interested in doing system engineering in particular verification and validation.
• Proficiency in Linux operating system internals and network concepts.
• Experience in developing tools using scripting language such as Python.
• Students whoare able tocommit to aminimum of 6 months full-time credit-bearing internships are preferred.
