Collections Specialist

You will report directly to our Manager Collections and you’ll work out of our San Luis location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact cash flow optimization and help minimize bad debt by effectively managing customer accounts and resolving disputes.
- Manage vendor accounts and maintain accurate records of collections activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts and support monthly close activities.
- Resolve vendor questions and allocate expenses appropriately.
- Drive compliance with company policies and standards related to collections.
- Compile reports on collections performance and outstanding accounts.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in collections or accounts receivable management.
- Knowledge of collections processes and financial reconciliation.
- Familiarity with general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliation.
- Ability to resolve vendor and customer inquiries related to collections.
WE VALUE
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Intermediate Portuguese/English language skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced financial environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with collections software and financial systems.
