Power engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Travel to the frontline as a Power delivery technical engineer (TE/TL/TD/SA) to take charge of onsite or remote delivery of Site/MDC power projects, including network design. Installation and deployment. Interconnection commissioning, Cutover, upgrade and expansion;
2. Provide technical assurance for the onsite delivery of cloud core product and solution projects, identify and resolve delivery risks and issues, and undertake key project responsibilities, including but not limited to pre-sales service contract support, technical management organization operation, technical solution development, technical issue and risk management, and technical change. System optimization and major assurance.
3. Be responsible for customer support in SLA, including parameter configuration, tariff policy adjustment, patch upgrade, version iteration, service cutover, and regression verification. Strictly control change risks to ensure zero impact on services.
4. Take part in customer training, skill transfer to internal employees, and knowledge accumulation (including local employee cultivation and personnel echelon building) in the project team or team.
5. Fully communicate with the customer during delivery project and be responsible for successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Service skill requirements:

1. Have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with customers, including technical solutions and delivery solutions. Be able to actively guide customers and obtain customer support and project team recognition.
2. Have strong understanding capabilities, be able to effectively analyze and manage customer requirements, and develop feasible solutions based on customer requirements.
3. Be able to identify technical risks (such as delivery strategies, technical solutions, network security, and bid response clauses) of a product family and take effective measures to cope with and avoid the risks.
4. Identify and manage technical issues, develop resolution plans and solutions, and complete design reviews. Supervise onsite construction.
5. 1-2 years of experience in the telecom field (familiar with AC/DC power systems, rectifiers, battery banks, UPS, and diesel generators)
6. Obey the global project allocation;

Requirements for professional knowledge:
1.Proficiency with Huawei energy products (e.g., SmartLi, SmartOm, Rectifiers, Inverters) and competitor equivalents.
2.Hands-on experience in site survey, equipment installation, wiring, commissioning, and acceptance testing for power systems.
3.Ability to use multimeters, clamp meters, and power quality analyzers; skilled in diagnosing power faults, battery issues, and generator failures.
4.Thorough knowledge of electrical safety regulations, grounding standards, and site safety protocols (e.g., LOTO – Lockout/Tagout).
