We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to own the customer-facing experience layer of our platform - the screens, journeys and integrations that our bank and co-brand partners embed into their own apps. This is a B2B2C product role. Your users are cardholders, but your customers are the digital and product teams at banks and consumer brands who ship your work inside their app. You will own our cardholder PWA and our headless card-management and onboarding SDKs end to end: what they do, how they are configured per program, how they are themed for each brand, how partners integrate them, and how well they convert. The surface area spans the full cardholder lifecycle - application and digital KYC, card activation and controls, statements and spend insights, rewards and offers, EMI conversion, tokenisation and push provisioning, servicing and support - delivered across a configurable PWA and native SDKs into partner apps.
Responsibilities:
- Own the roadmap for Hyperface's cardholder-facing surfaces - PWA and native SDKs - across onboarding, activation, servicing, rewards, offers, spend insights and EMI, for programs that live inside bank apps and co-brand partner apps.
- Write the specs that engineering and design build from: user flows, screen-level requirements, API and data dependencies, edge cases, error and empty states, and clear acceptance criteria.
- Design for multi-tenancy. One codebase serves many banks and brands, so decide deliberately what is configurable - theme, copy, entitlements, feature flags, spend groupings - versus what is bespoke, and hold that line as programs scale.
- Own the integration experience for client-side teams: SDK surface and versioning, authentication and SSO handoffs, deep links, push notifications, webhook contracts, sandbox and release cycles, and the developer documentation that goes with them.
- Partner directly with bank digital teams and co-brand product teams through discovery, integration and go-live - scoping calls, integration walkthroughs, UAT, and the can your SDK do this conversations.
- Instrument everything. Define the event taxonomy, funnels and dashboards (Mixpanel and similar) that show activation, drop-off, feature adoption and spend impact, and use them to decide what gets built next.
- Run continuous experiments on conversion-critical journeys - application and KYC drop-off, card activation, first transaction, offer redemption, EMI conversion - and report the numbers honestly.
- Hold a high UX bar inside someone else's app: brand-native theming, accessibility, and performance on low-end Android devices and poor networks.
- Bring compliance, risk and security in as a design input rather than a late-stage gate - regulatory requirements, consent, data handling and client security reviews.
- Manage the backlog and release train across multiple live programs, run sprint ceremonies, and make explicit trade-offs between platform investment and program-specific asks.
- Be the voice of the cardholder - session data, support tickets, app store reviews, client feedback - and translate that into the roadmap.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years in product management or a closely adjacent role (product design, business analysis, solution engineering, front-end engineering) on a consumer-facing mobile or web product.
- Evidence of end-to-end ownership of an app or web journey. You can walk us through the screens you specified, the trade-offs you made, and the metrics that moved.
- Working fluency with how apps actually ship: REST APIs and webhooks, native vs. web trade-offs, SDK integration and versioning, deep links, push notifications, and app release cycles. You do not need to write production code, but you should be able to read an API contract and hold your own in an engineering discussion.
- Comfort with data - funnel and cohort analysis, A/B testing, and product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, CleverTap, or GA. SQL is a plus.
- Strong written communication. Much of this job is a well-written PRD, integration note, or release summary that a client can read without you in the room.
- Genuine design sense - you can critique a flow, spot the missing state, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with designers in Figma.
- The temperament to work with external stakeholders.
- A meaningful share of the role is coordinating across organisations, timelines, and release calendars you do not control.
- Familiarity with agile delivery and tools such as Jira, Linear or Asana.
